The NBA final is a matchup between the Indiana Pacers and OKC Thunder. The Thunder had the best record in the league and destroyed the Minnesota TImberwolves in the conference finals. The 4 seeded Pacers managed to hold off the Knicks and made it to the NBA finals for the second time in their franchise history. The Thunder have one championship and last made it to the finals in 2012. The finals start on June 5th in Oklahoma city. The Thunder had one of the best regular season records of all time with a commanding 68-14 record. In the second round they had a scare as the Denver Nuggets took the series to 7 games. In game 7 the Thunder won by 30 points and avoided a big upset. The Pacers beat the Miluakee Bucks easily and then had to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round. The Cavaliers had the best record in the eastern conference however, the pacers pulled of an impressive upset and beat them in 5 games. FInally, in the conference finals they beat the New York Knicks to reach the final for the first time since 2000.
